Летним солнечным днем Зайка Уильям приехал в небольшой город на берегу Онежского озера – Петрозаводск. И в тот же день его ждала встреча с Петрозаводским фан-клубом “Секретным материалов”.

Участники встречи, впитавшие, можно сказать “Секретные материалы” с молоком матери, ладно, это была шутка, смотревшие “Секретные материалы” с самой ранней юности, решили прийти на встречу инкогнито. Поэтому начало встречи выглядело примерно так: Зайка Уильям вглядывался в лица людей, спешивших по своим делам, и пытаясь узнать Олю, написавшую о том, что придет на встречу. Наконец к нам подошла улыбающаяся девушка, которая оказалась кем? Нет, не Олей, а Леной. Через несколько минут история повторилась, и к нам присоединилась Марина! Когда наконец мы дождались Олю, то для начала решили пойти в кафе и основательно познакомиться, потому что видели друг друга в первый раз.

В кафе мы долго обсуждали 10 сезон, делились историями, кто и когда начал смотреть “Секретные материалы”. Оказалось, что все начали смотреть сериал еще в 90-ы годы, и сейчас многие с огромным удовольствием его или уже пересмотрели, или пересматривают. Все с надеждой ждут продолжения и 11 сезона!

Идеи для письменных посланий Крису Картеру родились почти мгновенно, чему Зайка Уильям совсем не удивился, и мы поспешили все быстро перевести и записать.

И наконец, прикрепив новый значок на курточу Зайки, мы отправились гулять по Петрозаводску в самое любимое место его жителей – набережную Онежского озера! Зайка был рад свежему и прохладному ветерку, дувшему с озера.
На набережной мы весело провели время, много фотографировались, и конечно продолжали обсуждать “Секретные материалы”, в лице друг друга мы нашли внимательных и все знающих собеседников 🙂

Время встречи потихоньку приближалось к концу, но мы не хотели расставаться, и поэтому пошли еще немного прогуляться по улицам города и проводить друг друга.

В Петрозаводске Уильям ни минуты не скучал, и уже на следующий день он отправился на прогулку в город Кондопога. Зайка в первый раз в жизни прокатился на автобусе 🙂
В Кондопоге мы с Зайкой посетили таинственную и прекрасную Церковь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы 1774 года постройки. Солнце, спокойствие, легкий ветерок, плеск волн Онежского озера, еще чуть-чуть и мы окажемся с прошлом…
Дальше мы прогулялись по улицам города, находя дорогу по карте, и после того как основательно подкрепились, отправились обратно в Петрозаводск!

Наступил день отъезда Уильяма в Москву и дальше в Нижний Новгород. Собрав сокращенный состав нашего петрозаводского фан-клуба, мы с Зайкой снова отправились гулять и наслаждаться общением друг с другом.
А наш Уильям смелый парень! Ни капли не испугался на колесе обозрения, куда мы поспешили, придя в Парк культуры и отдыха. С высоты птичьего полеты мы полюбовались на Онежское озеро и набережную.

Перед отъездом мы подарили Зайке наши небольшие, но такие искренние подарки.

It was a sunny summer day when William the Rabbit came to the capital city of the Republic of Karelia, which is called Petrozavodsk and stretches along the western shore of Lake Onega. On the same day our long-eared buddy was about to meet the X-Files fandom of Petrozavodsk.

All the meeting attendees, who have definitely been nurtured on their mother’s milk with love for “The X-Files” (well, we’re just kidding J), or, we’d better say, who have been watching the series since the time they were teenagers or just kids, decided though to come to the event incognito. That’s why we started our meeting like that: William the Rabbit was busy with scanning faces of accidental passers-by, trying to know Olga, who had given us a heads-up that she would come to the meeting. Finally there was a smiling girl, who was coming up to us, and she appeared to be… No, this was not Olga, this was Lena. A few minutes later we had the same situation and this time it was Marina, who joined our meeting. As we eventually waited until Olga came, we decided to go to a cozy café and to get to know each other better because it was actually the first time that we saw one another.

Ensconcing ourselves cozily inside the café, we discussed the 10^th season of “The X-Files” and shared with each other our stories about the time and the circumstances when we started watching the series. As it turned out, most of us began to watch “The X-Files” in the 1990s and have rewatched it since that time a dozen times or have been still rewatching it from time to time. What is more, everybody is looking forward to watching the 11^th season of the series.

William the Rabbit was not really surprised to know that we thought of our “messages” to Chris Carter almost at once and then hurried up to translate and write all of them down.

And finally we attached a brand-new souvenir badge to William’s jacket and went for a walk together along the streets of Petrozavodsk to the embankment of Lake Onega, which is the most popular leisure area in our northern city among its citizens. Our fluffy friend was glad to feel fresh cool breeze, blowing from the lake. We spent an amazing time, while walking together along the embankment. We took pictures and, of course, we kept discussing a new season of “The X-Files”, being really surprised at comprehensive knowledge of the series, shown by all of us. J

Time passed by and our meeting came eventually to an end. But, frankly speaking, we didn’t like to say goodbye to each other and to our new little friend. That’s why we decided to walk together along the streets of our summer city a little more and to take each other home.

While staying in Petrozavodsk, William the Rabbit had really no time to get bored. The next day our little buddy went for a walk to a small town of Kondopoga, which is located not far from Petrozavodsk. By the way, it was the first time that William rode a public bus. J In Kondopoga we visited together with William a magnificent and mysterious monument of Russian wooden architecture – the Dormition Church, built in 1774. The sun shone brightly and it was so calm that all we could hear and feel was a gentle breeze and a light play of the waves of Lake Onega. All of that made us feel as if we could easily get into the past…

Then we walked a little along the streets of Kondopoga, using a map to find our way around. Having refreshed ourselves properly, we made our way back to Petrozavodsk.

There came the day of William’s departure to Moscow and soon afterwards to Nizhny Novgorod. Unfortunately, not all of us could come to the meeting to say goodbye to our little buddy. So, having gathered a so-called “reduced crew” of the X-Files fandom, we went again together with William for a walk to enjoy ourselves and to talk to each other some more. By the way, William appeared to be a plucky little fellow! Will didn’t worry in the least while riding on a ferris wheel where we hurried, as we came to the amusement park of Petrozavodsk. We had a fantastic opportunity to admire Lake Onega and its embankment from a bird’s eye view. Besides, before William’s going we gave our little fellow small but such sincere gifts.
